The iconic, newly renovated UC Theatre Taube Family Music Hall is a premier East Bay music venue and special events destination under the direction of the Berkeley Music Group.

The UC Theatre Taube Family Music Hall is an exciting, multi-tiered, all-ages music venue with a state-of-the-art Meyer Leopard Sound system, theatrical lighting, a dancefloor as well as a full service restaurant and several bars. Flexible floor configurations include: 1,400 capacity General admission, 1,000 capacity reception-style, 550 theater-style and 400 banquet-style seating. The venue’s three tiers and dance floor are ADA wheelchair accessible.

Available for day and evening rentals, The UC Theatre hosts a myriad of events such as private concerts, trade shows and conferences, large receptions, business meetings, sit down dinners, award ceremonies, galas, fundraisers, wedding receptions, film and video premieres, luncheons, holiday parties and product launches.  

Berkeley Music Group will provide all your event planning needs and services, from furniture and equipment rentals, photography, talent and entertainment booking, to lighting, audio-visual systems and custom décor. Our in-house beverage program will provide you with a customized menu to suit your needs as well as your budget. We have an in-house caterer, California Rose Catering, and also suggest preferred vendors.
