Art by KG
Kristina KG, also known as KGART510, is a 24 year old artist/illustrator and music enthusiast of Indonesian-Dutch descent based in Oakland, California. Born and raised in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, she moved to the Bay Area in 2008 and graduated from Berkeley High School in 2011.

Growing up with a musician mother and artist father, art came to her naturally as a child and quickly evolved into a form of self-therapy to help her cope with trauma. Shortly after high school, she began to consider art as a serious career and participated in several art classes in college, though she remains largely self-taught. As her personal style developed, she began to take requests for custom artwork from friends and family and eventually made the leap to start selling prints of her work at Oakland First Fridays; a popular arts and culture event held monthly in the heart of Downtown Oakland.

She currently works as merchandise manager at the UC Theatre, a prominent Bay Area music venue, and occasionally models as another form of self-expression. She hopes to cultivate a successful career in arts & music, her dream being to open a gallery/music venue as well as a record label focused on uplifting women of color, survivors of sexual abuse and other marginalized groups through the healing power of art and music.

Azuah -

Azuah’s music weaves roots in alternative folk and soul with a poet's sensibility and an unforgettable voice to create an infectious sound all her own. A Bay Area native, she has played all over the West Coast from the Roxy in Los Angeles to stages in Oakland and San Francisco. Known for her evocative lyrics and haunting melodies, Azuah captures the listener’s ear from first note to last strum with a sound that can only come from the depths of an old soul.

Smokeshow -

Ellie and Vivian met in the spring semester of their senior year of college on the set of a black box production of Spring Awakening (pictured above!). Ellie played upright and electric bass, and Vivian played Ilse. Vivian thought Ellie was cool because she doesn't wear shoes when she plays and she has a tattoo of a squid behind her ear.

After college, Vivian moved to LA and made an album.  When she finished it, she thought, “What am I doing here?” So she moved back to the Bay Area where she grew up. Meanwhile, Ellie pursued a career in advertising and also, eventually, thought "What am I doing here?" So she moved to SF to pursue a hodge-podge life as a writer/barista/dog-walker/whatever-helps-her-support-her-musical-dreams.

In 2015, Vivian sent Ellie a fateful Facebook message a la "Let's play music together?!" and they've been making sweet tunes ever since.

Little Spiral -

@ Little Spiral @, a.k.a. Suzanne Yada, is a piano-pop singer-songwriter who writes at the intersection of technology and heart. She mixes her indie pop, classical, blues and electronic influences with her background in poetry, media and the internet to create clever little piano pop songs for the digital age. Fans of Tori Amos, Amanda Palmer, Mary Lambert, Fiona Apple and Regina Spektor will feel right at home in the @ Little Spiral @ galaxy.
