CCP Presents

CCP Presents is The UC Theatre’s capstone, real-world event experience within the Concert Career Pathways (CCP) workforce training program. Participants gain hands-on experience researching, budgeting, booking, marketing, planning, promoting, and producing live concerts at East Bay venues such as The Ivy Room, Starry Plough, Cornerstone, and more—learning how venues truly operate by doing the work themselves.

Interns are guided by experienced music industry professionals from The UC Theatre, who provide mentorship, structure, and support while allowing participants to take real ownership of their projects. This balance of independence and guidance creates an environment where learning is practical, immersive, and impactful.

Through CCP Presents, participants research and book artists, develop marketing plans and strategies, manage budgets, and execute day-of-show venue operations. This immersive experience allows interns to plan and execute a show from start to finish, A to Z, allowing participants to recognize that meaningful learning often comes from real-world challenges. Apply to the next cohort to produce a show or buy a ticket and support the next generation of live-music promoters!
