The Volunteers

The Volunteers (더 발룬티어스 as known as TVT) is an alternative rock band based in Seoul, South Korea. TVT composes of Yerin Baek 백예린 (vocal and guitar), Jonny 조니 (guitar), and Chiheon 치헌 (drums). 

Immediately after their formation in 2018, TVT started uploading self-produced demos on SoundCloud which ultimately saw over 3 million streams while their self-made music video scored over a million views, securing the band a passionate following even before any official release was announced.

After much anticipation, the band officially debuted in 2021 with a self-titled album “The Volunteers” which was met with both public and critical acclaim, winning the band three nominations at the prestigious Korean Music Awards. 

In the same year, the band’s first headlining show “Join the TVT Club” was held, selling out on all eight nights of its happening.
